UN World Environment Day: The NYC EcoFlora Project and Community Gardens
Wednesday, June 3, 2020
12:00 p.m. –1:00 p.m.
The NYC EcoFlora Project engages New Yorkers in protecting and preserving the city’s native plant species. We will discuss ways gardeners can be citizen scientists, observing and collecting information about the city’s plants and their relationships with other organisms, such as birds, insects, and mushrooms. In this workshop, we will discuss the ways the EcoFlora Project can be helpful to community gardeners and how gardeners can get involved.
Facilitated by Brian Boom and Daniel Atha (New York Botanical Garden).
Registrants will be emailed a link to join the webinar 2 days before the event, and again 30 minutes before the event. Please check your email for webinar details.
