The Annual LUNGS Harvest Festival in the East Village is the weekend of the September 24th and 25th and The Lower East Side People Care Community Garden (LESPC) would like to invite you to the Re-opening celebration of the garden on Saturday, September 24, 2016 from 2pm – 5pm.
Participate in a guided meditation by Matthew Caban and Jaquay Saintil. They invite you to “Total Wellness”, a guided meditation session that, with time, will empower you to face any adversity whether it be mental or physical from 2pm – 3pm and from 3pm to 4pm listen to live international folk songs by Eranga and Priyanga. You will enjoy their international songs where an African love song changes swiftly to Hebrew legend, Calypso is familiar as American rhythm and blues, the Italian ballad as inspiring as the Hawaiian island song and the Spanish gypsy segues into the music of Never on Sunday and Zorba the Greek! Yenny will have crafts and fun activities for children.
Light refreshments will be served.
For information about this upcoming event, please contact us at Lower East Side People Care Community Garden or you may call (212) 244-2288. See flyer for more details. We hope to see you there!
