Hello Gardeners,
I hope that this email finds you healthy and safe.
In response to the state of emergency declared in New York City due to the (new) coronavirus, known as COVID-19. I’m sharing an update to the access policy for all gardens operating under Manhattan Land Trust. Effective immediately and until further notice, all MLT gardens are open to gardeners only and limited to only necessary maintenance work. All gardens must remain closed to the public.
Please practice good hygiene at all times. We are asking all gardeners to practice social distancing during your visits to the garden, do not assemble as groups, and keep attendance in the gardens at a minimum. To stay up to date on NYC’s response to COVID-19 call 311 or visit www.NYC.gov.
FYI, The Annual Membership Meeting scheduled for April 18th and the Annual Fundraising Gala scheduled for May 14th are both postponed until further notice.
Pass the word and visit www.manhattanlandtrust.
Attached is a flyer to post in front the gardens during this unprecedented time.
Thanks for your cooperation.
